Swartz Covered Bridge spans the Sandusky River on County Road 130A about eight miles southeast of Upper Sandusky in Wyandot County.

The Howe Truss bridge, built by Moses Weymouth, has a 96-foot span. Originally built in 1878-79, it was restored in 1992-93 and again in 2018. The bridge crosses the Sandusky River near Harpster, Ohio.

To locate the bridge from US 23 southeast of Upper Sandusky in Wyandot County, take SR 294 north to County Road 130. The Swartz Covered Bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Several other historic sites are within a few miles of this bridge — the Wyandot Indian Mill and the Colonel Crawford Burn Site Monument. To see the sites, look for signs along US 23.

In addition, another covered bridge is located in the county, Parker Covered Bridge, on Township Road 40 (Everhart Road). The bridge spans the Sandusky River northeast of Upper Sandusky. The 172-foot Howe Truss bridge was built in 1873 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
