There are many products proudly made in Ohio, and a number of manufacturers have public tours available. Here are some of them. Due to public health concerns, tours may be changed or cancelled at any time. Be sure to phone ahead before planning to take tours.

Bucyrus Copper Kettle Works – Tour the last hammered copper shop in America at 119 S. Walnut St., Bucyrus. Bucyrus Copper Kettle Works has been making hammered copper kettles in the same location since 1874. Call (419) 562-6891 to schedule a tour.
Columbus Washboard Company – Take a tour of the Columbus Washboard Co., the only manufacturer of washboards in America, established in 1895. A 35-minute tour shows antique presses and machinery in action, includes museum and gift store. General admission $8, seniors/active military $6, students and children $5. Mosser Glass – Mosser Glass has been manufacturing quality hand-pressed glass products for more than 30 years. The company offers guided tours through the facility, where you will see talented craftspeople at work and learn about the process of glassmaking. Pearl Valley Cheese – Swiss family traditional maker of award-winning cheese since 1928. Pearl Valley Cheese offers a wide variety of cheeses from fresh, local ingredients. Rookwood Pottery Company – Rookwood Pottery Co. has been turning out beautiful pieces of art pottery and architectural tile since 1880, when it became the first large manufacturing enterprise in the U.S. owned and operated by a woman, Maria Longworth Nichols Storer. Behind the scenes tours of Rookwood Pottery are available by advance registration. Spangler Candy Co. – Candy store, museum and factory tour is closed, but a new attraction, Spangler Candy World, is coming soon to downtown Bryan. The attraction will have historical displays, activities for all ages, a retail store with candy and merchandise and a big-screen tour of the factory.
