Take a winter ride, the old-fashioned way

This Currier & Ives print of an idyllic winter scene of the 19th century features a horse-drawn sleigh.

There are not many places nowadays where you can actually live out the lyrics of the seasonal songs “Jingle Bells” and “Sleigh Ride.”

So where can you find a winter wonderland ride in Ohio? There are a few, and here are some of them. Call or go online for ticket information and reservations.

Have fun, bundle up and dash through the snow in an old-fashioned sleigh, trolley, buggy or carriage ride at these locations. Find more fun things to do in the wintry weather in Dusty Tires.

  1. If I was still in Ohio I would love to take a ride in a horse sleigh! Sorry I didn’t know about these places when I lived there.
